Members
The companies that make the fuel
Membership is limited to producers and suppliers of Australian ethanol and biodiesel. That restriction is deliberate. It keeps the Alliance’s positions grounded in what plants can actually deliver, and it keeps decision making fast.

How the Alliance is structured
The Alliance is a lean coalition built to move at the speed of the policy cycle. It is run by a steering committee of member representatives and an Executive Director, with no office and no standing staff beyond that role. Positions are settled by members and put to government with a single voice and a single spokesperson.
The Alliance engages constructively with the wider bioenergy sector. Its particular contribution is that it speaks for the companies that produce ethanol and biodiesel in Australia today.
Joining
Membership is open to Australian producers and suppliers of ethanol and biodiesel. Members contribute to a shared advocacy and research budget, review positions before they are lodged, and have access to the Alliance’s Commonwealth engagement program.
